About Millers Foods

Millers Foods are a 100% Australian owned and operated flour mill servicing the needs of the baking industry in Western Australia.

We began operations on July 12th 1999 after a management buyout of what was previously the Defiance flour mill in Byford. The sale by Goodman Fielder of the Bunge Defiance operation in Byford to Millers Foods has resulted in us acquiring the land and buildings, plant and equipment.

As a relatively small producer competing in a market dominated by large food conglomerates, we determined that we would only succeed if we “did the hard things better” than our competitors and offered the market a real independent alternative. This strategy has proven to be highly successful to date in the industrial market with incremental increases in sales and a steadily increasing customer base.

Complementing our premium quality flour, we are dedicated to providing an unmatched level of service to our customers that includes commercial bakery trouble shooting and technical assistance. Our customers value the technical expertise we provide with their R&D projects as well as the assistance that we offer with the implementation of food safety plans.
